"Do not be anxious about anything but in everything through prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Disc Golf

Another one of the adventures experienced during the holidays was disc golf. This was one of the things on their "to do" list while here. Now some of you made have already done this. For those of you who have not it's just like golf. You have putters and drivers based on the weight of the disc. There is a disc golf course in Valdosta at Freedom Park. Greg plays a good bit in Griffin so he was the Golf Pro for the day and Kelly, Dana and Charlie were the amateurs. I stayed home with Anna and watched the Barbie version of the Nutcracker - that was on my "to do" list - spending time with my granddaughter.

They had a great time including the disc being thrown into the "rough" or a water hazard in Charlie's case. Lots of special memories were made and stories to tell or exaggerate as the case may be but that is what it is all about - making memories.

The Fairway

Oops - in the water!

Did he make par after throwing it in the water?
He'll never tell.
