Let It Shine

I use to feel inadequate - that I didn't know enough scripture so that I could share with others. I got involved with some people who were strong Christians and I studied, I listened, I stepped out in faith and God provided. He prepared the way and I followed.

This did not happen overnight. It has been a process. Everything in my past has prepared me for my ministry today. It is the hope that I can share with others.The more we know about what God has done in the past, the greater the confidence we will have in His control of the future. It's like driving. One of the things I was told when I learned how to drive is that the rear view mirror is one of the most important things in the car that I should use. It let's me know what is behind me so it will not interfere with where I am going.

Roman 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

There is no hopeless situation. There are only people who have grown hopeless. Joy and peace are not dependent on the things around me. Joy and peace are the presence of Jesus in me.

His light shines in me. "This little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine."
